A fun night out

VERENA WE MISS YOU!!!

The way I like it...

...I have not been to Starbucks to study in a while, since I do that at the Tea Lounge in Park Slope now, which I like much better. But last week Thursday the popular Tea Lounge was so crowded that I could not find a place to sit and so I had to go to the Starbucks two blocks further up. Of course, since I was supposed study (which makes my mind wander and think about everything else, but the stuff that I have to do) I remembered the little statements on the cups...so here are the ones from that night...

# 49:

Baking may be regarded as a science, but it's the chemistry between the ingredients and the cook that gives desserts life.

Baking is done out of love, to share with family and friends, to see them smile.

# 61

Imagine we are all the same. Imagine we agree about politics, religion and morality.
Imagine we like the same types of music, art, food and coffee. Imagine we all look the alike.

Sound boring?

Differences need not divide us. Embrace diversity. Dignity is everyones human right.

Today's News...

...and I was in one of the subways that got 'evacuated'. All of a sudden it turn from 'in service' to 'out of service' while we were in the tunnel...hmmm. It is never boring in New York City...bomb warnings, terrorist attacks, fire in a subway station and gigantic roaches are just a few of the things when you start wondering why you picked this place as your personal "paradise". Life's mysteries...
